With a 66 MHz dedicated PCI channel, the Ultra 30 workstation supports multiple high-performance graphics displays, two Creator Graphics cards -- up to Creator2D, Creator3D, or Elite3D at full speed -- can be installed in dual UPA slots, so two monitors can be driven simultaneously. The modular processor is available in 250MHz/ 1 MB cache or 300Mhz/ 2 MB of cache. Maximum memory is 2GB with 16 memory slots installed in pairs or groups of 4. One or two Ultra SCSI disks, 2, 4 or 9 GB may be used The Ultra 30 comes in a minitower case, making it easy to use as a deskside system. The top bay is designed specifically for removable media options, such as a SCSI 12x CD-ROM, 4-mm or 8-mm tape drive.
